How should I prepare for my session?

1. TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN. I recommend cleansing, toning & moisturizing your skin every day leading up to your appointment. Use a gentle exfoliator the morning of for a nice smooth makeup application.

2. Send me realistic makeup inspiration photos . Keep in mind skin has texture and if you send pictures that are heavily edited it will be very hard for me to recreate. I will do my best to make you look flawless but your skin is still going to look like skin when I’m finished. That’s why it’s so important to take care of your skin. Makeup can only do so much.

3. Come with your hair already styled. It’s always nice to see your full finished look when I’m done. Helps me keep the makeup balanced with how your planning on wearing your hair for your event.

How long should I plan for my session?

I like to overestimate on time. For weddings, 90 min with the bride and 60 min with each bridal party member. Event/shoot makeup allow 90 min for the session. I'll arrive 10-15 min early to set up for on-location makeup.

Can I bring someone with me to my session?

At this time I'm not allowing any extra guests with any sessions done at my home due to Covid-19.Thank you for understanding!

How many makeup services can you do on your own?

If the number of services is 7 or more, a second artist may be required. Also, depending on the time of your wedding and overall logistics, an additional artist may be required. I don't have an assistant and you will have to book a second artist on your own to split the group with me.

How long have you been a professional makeup artist?

I've been doing makeup professionally for events, shoots and weddings for five years but my love for makeup started over 10 years ago while working at a Clinique makeup counter in Macy's. I have to thank Clinique for all the skin care education I received while working there and makeup sanitation. It truly is my passion and I never get tired of it. ;)

What if my wedding date changes, or I cancel?

Since I get booked up in a year advanced for most my weddings, I can't guarentee I'll be able to accomodate any changes. All retainers and charges are non-refundable and non-transferrable. I will try my best work to with you though if you keep me in the loop with what's going on. :) Covid-19 Cancellations: All retainers and charges are non-refundable and non-transferable in any case of cancellation. Please keep that in mind when booking me for your wedding date.

What's your makeup style?

My makeup style photographs very natural but is actually a full coverage makeup look with contour, highlight, lashes and neutral tones. I use long wearing foundations for my weddings that are full coverage. I trust full coverage foundations because I know they will last through your tears. Let's chat more to see if we're the right fit!

Will the makeup smooth out my skin texture and any wrinkles?

Skincare, facials, lasers, botox and other treatments are the only things that can help with texture and wrinkles. Makeup will not make wrinkles or texture go away and it will potentially emphasize any texture on the skin. I'm very transparent and want you to have the right expectations going into your session with me. I will try my best to make you look flawless when I'm done but your skin is still going to look like skin. The best thing you can do to prepare your skin is exfoliate and hydrate the morning of your session or wedding day. It's never too late to start a skin care routine and if you have the budget find an esthetician to get your skin in the best shape!

Nope. Not for me! I apply makeup traditonally with a brush and sponge.

Touch-ups are available for an additional fee. Your makeup will last you all day and night! I'll send you a full product list of what we used during your trial in case you'd like to pick them up for touch-ups on your wedding day. I do recommend bringing your favorite lipstick or gloss and some powder if you tend to get shiny.

When should I schedule my trial?

I recommend booking your trial 2-6 months prior to your wedding date. Trials are for my booked brides only due to demand.

Are you available on my wedding date?

I only have a few 2021 dates left and now accepting 2022 dates. I only take 40 brides a year and will only be accepting weekend weddings. I will no longer be able to take week day weddings at this time. I'm more than happy to send you some amazing referrals though!

I have spent over 5 years experimenting with so many amazing brands. Some of my favorite brands are: Nars, Laura Mercier, Tarte, MAC, Viseart, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Fenty, Bobbi Brown, KAJA Beauty, Stila, Armani, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury and Dose Of Colors to name a few.

How should I plan my wedding day timeline?

Great Question!! I won't know the exact time we need to start until we chat about your wedding day timeline. A good place to start is to chat with your photographer about when they are going to start photos. Usually you want everyone ready before they arrive. If you aren't having any "getting ready pictures" taken or "first looks" than it's good to have everyone ready 1-1.5 hours before your ceremony. Keep in mind you will still need to put on your dress, take bridesmaids pics. and if you need drive to your venue ect. Normal time frame for beauty services is 5-7 hours. Keep in mind the more services I have the more time we'll need. I'll need 60 min with each bridal party member and 1 hr 30 min with the bride. I'll arrive 15-20 min early to set up my work station and add 15-20 min at the end for lips and any touch-ups needed. This will ensure you to have more than enough time and set you up to have a relaxing wedding day.I'll reach out to you a month before the wedding to start a rough timeline with you.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule my appointment with you?

All booking deposits for appointments are non-refundable in any event of cancellation. If you need to reschedule your session, please let me know within 24 hours and you can transfer your booking deposit to your new date based on my availability. The sooner I know the better I can accomodate any changes. :) I know life happens and will do my best to work with you. Any no shows or last minute cancellations will be restricted from any future bookings with me.

Can I get a trial before reserving you for my date?

Normally most makeup artists save trials for only booked brides due to demand. It's uncommon to have a trial before you book. A bridal trial is a preview of your bridal makeup look. It's meant to give you a visual of how you'll feel in the makeup. Bridal trials aren't a "try before you hire" kind of apt. If you're curious if we'd be a good fit we can set up a call to chat. I'd love to get to know you! LET'S CHAT!!

Do I have to book a bridal trial?

I would a 100% book a trial with all of your beauty vendors before your wedding day! You don't want to find out you're allergic to something the day of your wedding day, TRUST ME!

What should I bring for touch-ups?

Bring a lip product, lash glue, & blotting powder (MAC has a great one). Let me know if you have any questions!
